[ ↕ ] Қyoko could feel it in the night air. She was hot on the trail of another witch, she was on a roll tonight. She’d already fought one, she was looking for more. It was the best way to get her aggression out.
This one had her going all the way back to the outskirts of Mitakihara. She hadn’t been there since the last time she had a fight with someone. Someone very dear to her.
“Tch..” She thought a loud. “I don’t need anyone..” She finally found it the goldmine she’d been looking for all night. It was stronger than the others. It was a powerful witch inside. She jumped in without a second thought.
The labyrinth was different, it was unsettling. She narrowed her eyes and trudged forward. There were tonnes of familiars coming from the walls and floors. She summoned her spear, breaking it up into links and destroying them with ease. She advanced deeper and deeper into the labyrinth, but the deeper she got, the more familiars would appear, and the stronger they became.
She gripped her spear tight and stabbed through a good few of them when she hear the blast of a familiar rifle. “Shit!” She muttered to herself. She had to know now. She swept down a row of familiars and peered around the corner.
Sure enough, there she was, shooting at the creatures that were clearly overwhelming her. She looked the same as she did when they had their fight. Kyoko fought off what tried to bring her down.
She observed the other magical girl, unsure if she’d been spotted or not. She maintained a distance between her and the other. She finally made her choice internally and linked her spear back together and charged at the familiars bombarding her old companion. “What are you stupid?” She yelled at the blonde. “Get moving!” She said, holding off the familiars for the moment.
